Re: Have you changed the org?
I think I coined the term 'mood sync', if that. I can't say I've done much else.

On animemusicvideos.org, you don't make any changes to the community, the community changes you.

Re: Have you changed the org?
First person to foolishly post an Odorikuruu Killer amv and Aokakesu Digital himself soundly thrashed it ^_^
Did dance vids pretty much exclusively since nobody else did them in the past, now they're up in full force. [Also, I think I'm the only one that released 'series' collection amvs]
I wanted to be part of the DDR Projects in secret then someone finally caught wind of my intentions...
Made a thread for funny anime screen shots and helped create a whole new forum for eternity... ^_^
Was THE most opinionated for about 1 year before I got bored and lazy and lethargic.
Wishes I was both opinionated and helpful like MexicanJunior, but I don't opinionate vids I dislike unless asked specifically. That and when you write good opinions about great amvs, there's not much to correct them on.
Dedicated more vids to other org members than I can recall.
Was considered cool till I discovered I hated editing in After FX [the fact that I hated editing already didn't help me]
I'm an oldie. Been around since the days when Doki^2, ErMaC, Aluminum Studios, and what not where active and the 'hotz0rs' [and frankly, they still are]
Oh yes, I'm also not a loli-hunter.

Re: Have you changed the org?
I've made an MPEG-2 encoding guide for conventions, a very high quality custom WMV profile for people who'd rather do that than export DV AVI from Windows Movie Maker (and I have seen DV AVIs get rather borked in the past), and a still unfinished guide to AVISynth postprocessing filters.
I've made over 10,000 posts (#4 all time after dropping the #3 spot to Jaddzia Dax, who is welcome to it) and consistently advocated:
- Sending your videos to conventions if you want to attract viewers.
- Making whatever the hell you want and screwing what everyone else thinks.
- Not being afraid to talk to people, because there is nospoon Tsukihime animé "inner circle".
And I think my AMVs have managed to convince some people to watch FLCL, Fushigi Yuugi: Eikou Den (Ha, ha!), Loveless, and Princess Tutu.
Other than that? No idea.

Re: Have you changed the org?
Hmmm, do you guys appreciate that I give some heads up on new anime series that come up in Japan? That's seemed to be the most activity I've done in the forums ever since, and I don't know if it indirectly affects some of editors here who wants to check out new series.

Re: Have you changed the org?
ok not too toot my own horn but I beleive Ileia and I came up with Internal sync (basically the same thing Corran is talking about
) and Katie and I started this band of ruffians who like to loiter over on the members main page. I don't think I've done anything helpful though, but gosh I feel gosh darned important sometimes
I've also secured the spot for most opinions on the org (with 1337 ops
) which I doubt will ever be beaten as qc's have really killed the random op.

Re: Have you changed the org?

which is a shame cuz you used to be able to look at the amount (if not the scores given, but the one with the most ops was usually the ones given the most attention) of ops as a good quantifier as to the best loved videos, and now it's a wasteland, some of the best videos hardly get a single one, or just a few! It's retarded!!
