Does my Comp meet the requirements to make AMVS?

Post by MrMuffinMan69 » Thu Jul 18, 2002 10:38 am

i recently purchased a Sony Vaio. It has a GForce 2 32mb video card,512mb of ram, an 80 gig hard drive, pentium 4,and it is 1.6 ghz. It also came with Sonic Foundry and a DVD Rom. I've already read a couple of the guides on this site and i m even more confused now than when i started. How can I rip DVDs and then wats up with all of this lip syncin stuff ii m really confused so if neone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

well, with the exception of the graphics card nd the HD space your computer is much better than mine.

You have all the necessary stuff, you're just going to have to read the guides a *lot*

And you'll post again and again and again as a demonstration of what you'll be doing with the guides. ;-)

Your computer is more than up to the task, so long as you have the right software.

I made my first AMV's on a 500Mhz Pentium III Dell computer with a 16 GB hard drive.

However the computer I have now is far more powerful. 8)

I made my first AMV on a 450mhz with 64mb ram and a 10gb HDD with only about 200mb free ^_^.
