the smell of it turns my stomach too, so it could just be a sensitivity... my dad is allergic to the stuff, might run in the family for me..

and I've been around and smelled all kinds (no I didn't know what the "kinds" were but i do know they smelled different and yet had the same underlying smell that turns my stomach.)

also I never said that pot smokers smoke it all the time, I just said what the main effects of smoking it are..

Truthfully I think it would be fine to legalize it, then tax the crap out of it... aside from not wanting it around me (because it smells bad - same goes for cigarette smoke), my only real issue with the stuff is that its illegal.

Hehe... sort of like Brie... or beer for that matter. Actually... beer is a good comparison. Most people for example don't like beer with a heavy hops flavor the first time they try it. After a while though... you gain an appreciation for the flavor and its nuances. Pot has a very similar learning curve.
