Songs With Multiple Parts...
Looking for a bunch of good songs with multiple parts or "sequels". I know that there are a bunch, but only a few come to mind. I'm just looking to put together a playlist of them.
So far I have:
Another Brick In The Wall (Parts 1,2,3)
Unforgiven & Unforgiven II (because III fucking failed on soooooo many levels)
Wings For Marie/10,00 Days
Paraol/Parabola
Disposition/Reflection/Triad
Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann)/Rosetta Stoned
Halloween and Halloween II

Re: Songs With Multiple Parts...
The only song that comes to mind is "Falco´s" song "Jeanny". This song has multiple parts and has also parts from other artists.
Also there is the "Adam´s Story" wich is told over 3 Marilyn Manson albums. The story is told with various songs of the album.
We all know Beo´s famous amv Dead To The World, right? The story in this amv is Beo´s own interpretation of "Adam´s Story"

Re: Songs With Multiple Parts...
King Crimson have a whole series of these things.
From their first album, the songs themselves are separated into parts with different names - e.g.
-21st Century Schizoid Man (including Mirrors)
-Epitaph (including March for No Reason & Tomorrow and Tomorrow)
-Moonchild (including The Dream & The Illusion)
-The Court of the Crimson King (including The Return of the Fire Witch & The Dance of the Puppets)
Their second album is "framed" by three short tracks - Peace - A Beginning, Peace - A Theme and Peace - An End, and also has
-Pictures of a City (including 42nd and Treadmill)
-In the Wake of Poseidon (including Libra's Theme)
-The Devil's Triangle (including Merday's Horn, Hand of Sceiron, and Garden of Worm)
Their third album even goes beyond that and has a second side which has not only parts in the huge 23-minute song named, but even sub-parts, i.e.
-Lizard (including Prince Rupert Awakes, Bolero: A Peacock's Tale, The Battle of Glass Tears (including Dawn Song, Last Skirmish, Prince Rupert's Lament) and Big Top)
They sort of stopped doing that with the departure of lyricist Peter Sinfield, but on the other hand have since made a lot of "sequels" and thematic continuations, most famously of course Larks' Tongues in Aspic, including
-Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part I (1973)
-Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part II (1973)
-Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part III (1984)
-Larks' Tongues in Aspic, Part IV (2000)
There was also supposed to be a Part V in 2000, but the track was renamed FraKctured, which is itself a reference to 1974's Fracture.
I can't really list them, but the King Crimson "fractal" offshoots, the ProjeKcts, have a lot of cross-referencing going on in titles, and in fact the "songs" that they play are improvisations on different themes, and come out rather differently each time.
Their last album, The Power to Believe, also has the title track divided into 4 parts on the album.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
