Changing Codecs
Okay. So the problem with some of my AVI raws is the fact that they are in Divx codec and thus crashing Adobe. I need to convert them to Huffyuv. Is there a simple way to do this? Can VirtualDub be used for this or something?

Really? Even if playback lags in Adobe too? The end result will come out okay?mirkosp wrote:If it lags on playback, it's normal. It will be just fine when editing.Darksong17 wrote:Okay, well, I tried this an the problem is that the footage now lags terribly. I don't know why?It is supposed to be an editing codec and not a playback one.

Breaking it into clips and saving it through Adobe seems to clear up the lag. Awesomesauce.BasharOfTheAges wrote:That depends on your system specs.Darksong17 wrote:Really?
