Not really a blur, but...

How exactly do you get an effect to make a particular scene lose 'focus'? I'm not sure if it's a blur or not, but I've tried the linear blurs in Vegas and I just can't seem to get what I want. If anyone can tell me how to accomplish this, your help would be appreciated. Thanks =]

Try gaussion blur.

Radical blurs focus on one spot and blur the rest.

Maybe thats what you need.

You're probably going to have to be alittle more specific, from your discription, I'd just say apply a very light gaussion blur over a few frames.

like loosing your mind (XD)? than try like auron said the glassian blur. that what you took was the linear blur :I
