A wild SPIDERMEW appears!

Post by SpiderMew » Mon Aug 11, 2008 12:58 pm

*cue epic boss battle music*
Dont even try to use a master ball on me.....

Anyhoo Im SpiderMew. I joined because im actualy looking for something better to rip the videos from my dvds. Ive been using snaggit and now that ive got a better monitor, i can see where snaggit's capture quality is well... crappy.
I use Windows Movie Maker 2.2 and ive been messing arround with some new transissions ive found so the next amv im going to make should be allot better then what ive done so far.

As for what ive made, AMV wise ive done 1 and a half(ish)

The first thing ive done is a tribute to Gai Daigoji from Nadesico set to Helloween's If i could fly. I used snaggit 8 and I had barely started to figure out how movie maker works. (please mind the weird intro)

The other thing (the half ish thing ive made) was an intro to a "movie" i made, the movie itself uses mugen and whatnot, but the intro is an amv, showing Blaziken fight various other characters from differnt things. Again the capture was done with snaggit, from dvd's i had to bumm from my friends, as i didnt have everything i used myself. The amv part is only the first 2:15 of the video, it looked better on my old monitor.

I know now how to upload a high quality video to youtube and get it to play as such, and my editing skills have improved allot sence these 2 amvs.
A friend mentoned this site and said I might be able to find a better program to get my clips off of my dvd's here. So here I am.

Holy vagina I didn't read your post but I'm sure it was full of Unclever jokes and apparently links to youtube, though I don't know what the hell youtube is supposed to be. Read our forum rules and bladda yadda.

Hi! Welcome to the org!

I will offer some protips to people that have just join our forum.

#1. Read the rules sticky, It's right at the top of the page! You can't miss it!
When you do read them you'll notice it says we don't do introduction threads, so don't feel too bad if this gets locked.

#2 You asked a question so you are not completely off topic! Good for you!
Unfortunately you didn't ask in the correct forum, if you had read titles of the forums sections you would have found a more appropriate place for your quandary.

To respond anyway, because everyone around here knows that I'm such a nice guy I will provide you with a link to our guides.

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/

This is a very in depth guide and can be a bit intimidating but stick with it and you'll thank yourself.

#3 I'm pretty sure your sig is too big.

Please enjoy your stay, but don't eat my cookies or I'll have to kill you.

I can do it.

I have the technology.

Peace Out.

Well I apologize then for making something that was mostly an introduction topic when those arnt done here.
Though this topic is also used to show what work ive done before, so that too makes it totaly not off topic right?
