I have a beta from a few years ago that I've never released and actually don't have on my HD anymore. Yet oddly footage from it has been used in two different videos, neither of which were made by me. Fucking beta stealing thief.

Anyway, no, I don't upload nearly everything I make. I've actually worked on more things that have never been uploaded than I have things that were uploaded. For joke videos I don't give a fuck and upload em anyway but a couple years ago I started developing some fucking standards for stuff I take an effort in. I keep it to myself unless I'm happy with it and as some may have noticed, it's rather rare I'm happy with any amv...

Yeah, I just keep my stuff anyways, for memories sake.

I have three AMVs I've made and never uploaded, if I get really ashamed of a video I'll never submit it anywhere though I typically still log them on the org.

1. My first AMV - only exists on VHS since it wass done with the two VCR method and it's just bad

2. Pain - A video I did to the Kenshin OVA to and End of Evangelion song, early AMV that is absolutely awful due to repeat footage and subtitles I left in by mistake due to my source being subbed VHS copies.

3. A video of Harlock Saga to the Pirate King song from Pirates of Penzance, the video was abandoned halwfay because it just was turning out horribly and wasn't going to be at all how I planned so I gave up on it.

I have a Beck video I showed at AWA last year but I am still undecided if I want to upload it or not since I made it for kicks and it's not too refined.

I do too, and I've only ever had one video attempt that I didn't finish, and I threw it away along time ago.

I do have one video that I was initially made for pro last year, but since I entered something else, I wanted to wait to fix parts that I didn't like in it, before uploading and releasing it. I still haven't gotten around to releasing it, but I still plan to.

I've done this myself with a relatively recent amv. Despite the fact that it won 1st place in a contest I entered it in, I felt uncomfortable uploading it here for a couple reasons.

1.) The source footage is way overused by both the org and myself
2.) I don't think the amv accomplished anything my previous amv's didn't. (especially when compared to the most recent amv I uploaded here)

...So I keep it and treasure it for myself. To be honest, I hope I can turn this into a habit. The new goal is to be able to look back on future uploaded amv's, and not feel ashamed of them in some way. Hopefully, through being more picky of what I want to upload, I can reach this goal.

I try to make the best of it...my modus operandi at the moment is not to get involved in a project unless I really think I can see it through to the end, which means I'm not involved in very much at the moment because there's very little I come up with that's feasible. Sometimes even the weird, half-made, this-can't-possible-be-turned-into-a-real-AMV sorts of things are salvageable, though. I figure if someone else can get a bit of entertainment value out of it, then why not share?

how could you possibly tell it was yours? when your beta was probably only 2 seconds long, considering you have the shortest vid on the .org and people could barely tell 1 vid from another in theartistpreviouslyknownaskit's recent video heist x_x

and to answer the question, no. there are none.
I finish every video I start :|
new banzors in the making :p
