actually it took more effort giving the ballots back at a-kon, and as for Acen - i didn't make it there in time to be a judge, and only saw 1/2 the showing.

I didn't know of any cons with two showings with multiple vote sessions. Typically only the first one inovlves voting.

If I'm not in the contest and I believe there are certain entries that really should win, I won't lie, I'd vote twice if there were 2 showings and voting was going on at both.

But if any of my videos were in the contest at all, I just wouldn't vote, let alone vote for my own entries. I'd feel terrible doing that...>.<

I'd vote at only one showing. Castor Troy got my answer, I was gonna say vote for the underdog, too. Or if anything, like Acen, just not vote in the category I'm in.

Whenever I get the chance I vote for myself. I figure no one else will and I don't want to go through the humiliating ego destroying experience of not getting even a single vote...

Not exactly. Some of us have the humility to admit when someone has a better video

. I always prefer an 'honest' win over winning for the sake of winning.

I'll admit that sometimes it's difficult, but I'd feel fairly weird voting for myself when I know someone else's video is better. However along the same logic, I have voted for myself when I happen to be the strongest video and I truly believe it /ego.

The way I vote generally is for the best video in a category (if I feel mine is the best, I vote for it)... However I usually abstain form voting for top awards such as best in show, etc if my video is in it. But then again it's everyone's personal decision to how they want to apply thier vote so there really is not "wrong" answer (Hey, I hear even your President usually votes for himself

imagine him voting for an opponent)
