I know this comment thing is a favor you're doing for the contestants, but it defeats the purpose (and undermines the amount of time and effort the judges may have put into commenting on things) if you only can see the last comment and all the judges vote within 30 minutes of one another like they seem to have done.

I think that is a glitch, meaning no comments where left (I got the same thing). Last year I had a few comments on Lost in an Anime Dream and the last one was the Judge didn't leave a comment. So, I think if you just got that, then no comments where left; but I could be wrong.

I didn't get any comments either (or an email)...when would that be sent to me if I got cut?

if it didn't make it in, is there a way i can find out why? or like a way to see how close my score was to the cut-off point?

I believe they don't really show the scores cause then you would know who won and who didn't just by talking to others..

though after the con it would be nice to see the scores :3

I'm sorry everyone, but I'm having problems with my Judge's Account which has locked out any videos for me to view or comment on. I know last year I was practically the only one who wrote tons of comments for most people, but I'm afraid there may not be too many this year. Seems like we are still having website cliches. I wrote my impressions of our judging panel in my journal but seeing as how many of you really do like getting comments from the judges, I'll make it a point that we take that seriously next year.

I'm pretty sure your video will make it in. It was short and funny! I don't think an overall scoring system is available for view, even to individual judges but it might be an option to implement. The issue of addressing videos that make the cut or not is another topic that seems to be important and probably needs to change for next year.

I think I need to start a list of "Things we need to fix".

so there's a chance it isn't cut (my submissions page says the mrs hasn't been met)? lol i hate to ask a favor, but could you find out for sure? i really just want the naruto one shown at the con lol

I'm sorry, I have no way of knowing until I meet everyone at the con. I didn't know you had more than one video entered, so I assume that whichever video the message relates to is the one that didn't meet the Min. Required Score. If that is the case then I am sorry about that. We appreciate you submitting but judging videos helps to cut down on the huge number of entries (which we can't all possibly show due to time and scheduling). Lots of people want their videos shown to a theater audience, but certain criteria has to be met - just as all conventions have.

Again, I'm sorry but if one of your videos is showing then at least it is something.
