What are the Best DBZ Techno/Trance/Dance AMVs?

Post by Typhoon859 » Sat May 03, 2008 9:02 pm

I really like DBZ; I really like AMVs; I really like Techno/Trance/Dance music. A Techno DBZ AMV makes the best thing in the world ^^ Does anybody know any good Techno DBZ AMVs? I don't mean just any... There are a lot but most of them are terrible. Post what you consider to be the best in this category. Thank you :)

Lol. I knew someone would post that one. That's the only one I know that's good and it's my favorite AMV. I probably should've said "Besides Doomrider"

I really like <anime> I really like AMVs; I really like <music>. <music> <anime> AMV makes the best thing in the world! Does anybody know any good <music> <anime> AMVs?
I don't remember any good ones besides the one requiett already suggested. Then again I haven't even bothered watching many dbz amvs so I wouldn't know, though if there was anything even worthy of mention you'd expect to find it in the amv suggestions forum.
For me, believing in good dbz amvs is like believing in Santa nowadays. Some old fashioned people and kids believe in him and his superiority but the truth is that though he did live in the past, he lived a pretty miserable life, no matter how coca-cola has made people image him. :amv:

There are still plenty of good DBZ AMVs nowadays. I just don't know any techno ones that are good.

Basically, if you have a question, chances are that it has been asked many many many times before. People see the same stuff over and over again, at times it feels like it would be easier if they would just search and find it for themselves. When you ask for suggestions, then deny the suggestions ("That's not an AMV!" "That's not even a song!") then it tends to annoy the people who were just trying to help you.

Plus, yeah, we do have a lot of less-than-friendly posters, and when you respond defensively, you play right into their hands. Then it goes back and forth and your thread no longer has anything to do with what it started with.
Which happened in both of your threads. At this point, I don't think you'll get any more suggestions, I think it will just be more of the back-and-forth crap and it will eventually get locked.

Like sweetdeily said, use the search option, you can narrow it down by the anime, so that should help. However, the thread in the recommendations thread is the best resource, and anything worth watching will most likely have already been mentioned there.

anyways donate, then use the super search function... look up the artist/anime you like then organize them by star rating, opinion count or hit count or whatever other silly gauge will float your boat...

or do as suggested previously and check the recommendation thread.

this amused me today:

Finding good AMVs is usually a matter of downloading everything that sounds interesting and weeding out the bad ones by watching them all. Sometimes you get lucky and another person had the same interests or ideas and you can just check a thread for the links. Unfortunately, it seems that "good Techno DBZ AMVs" aren't that common, or the recommended Dragonball/Z/GT AMV thread would be chock full of them.

As JaddziaDax mentioned, being able to sort them by stars, opinions, or hits can make it easier to get some results. There are some good (and sometimes great) videos that don't get much views because the anime/song combo or concept doesn't match popular taste. But unless you go digging, you may never find that diamond in the rough. Donating makes certain options available in Super Search, but even the regular version will get you the same results - you'll just need to dig a bit more to find what you are looking for.
