Suggestion query method improvement

I tried to find another thread out there on this topic, but my searches kept returning unrelated results.

This may be a little too complicated right now, but I would like a Suggestion Query option on the AMV Search page that generates suggestions on more criteria than star ratings. I have discovered several songs, anime, and other members through the current methods, but I always have to weed through a long list of AMVs I am not interested in.

My suggestion is to include such criteria as does not contain these anime or songs, or contains fewer or more than so many songs or anime. I am sure most of us would agree we do not want a list of fifty suggestion to all contain Naruto, Dragonball, or have a list of forty anime. This may require a few more attributes on the profile page for AMV preferences.

Even if this is asking too much, I would still like to know what other members who use these search functions have to say.

They're using "Suggestion Query" as stated in the subject line. That thing that gives you a list of videos you might like based on 2 different algorithms.

I should have known someone would ask about searching.

I do not mean things I am trying to use the advanced search form for. If I want something specific I will look for it actively. I am only talking about improving or adding another Suggestion Query Method. Similar to when you buy stuff at Amazon or sites like that they will suggest other similar products you may be interested in.

There are a lot of songs, anime, and members out there and it does help to have a more personalized list of suggestions.

Now I am probably being redundant....
