They clapped along. Then, when you started to show the trigger, everyone was, like: "DO IT!!!! KILL HIM!!!"

Nice job, dokool, I'm glad you finally got what you had coming to you! Congrats to all the other winners, as well!! It's springtime for AMVs! :D Yay!

Thanks GQ for putting up this list - except for a few AMVs, I didn't even know what else was in the competition. ^_^

oh, and what's up with Tekko not being on the con list for the Info section? Is it that half-written "amv contest" entry for April 15?? Someone needs to fix that. Right now I'm claiming to have won awards in a contest I'm not listed as being a participant in. :?

I'll quote this one here, since the original was locked:

Your video was one of the best comedies in my opinion and had as simple elegance to it that showed a great deal of skill on your part. It also had stand-alone ability or the ability of someone who is not seen the series or the song to find this video entertaining and funny. This is a trait that is all to often missing in the comedy category. I look forward to seeing other videos you have done. Great job.

The "Still Alive" song from that video was catchy, and we had fun singing it in the Cosplay line. The video itself was a bit repetitive though. Too many cases of reusing the same scenes, even with the same words, which made it get old fast for me. The best example of this is during the line "for the people who are still alive", during which the shot of the group was always used.

Kinda hard to know since they ARE NOT listed. Therefore, it stands to reason there was only one entry worth note. :P

I recently added it to the conventions calendar, so the finalists can now amend their Video Info and select it.

For some reason Tekkoshocon's contest doesn't have a checkbox next to it...
