St. Louis locals - Ludo and Cavo

I like to pimp music from my hometown from time to time, and I think I need to rave about a couple of my faves from here: Ludo and Cavo.

Ludo, some of you may know of since they just got signed on a national label (Island). Their new album "You're Awful, I Love You" is probably their best work to date. The first single on there, "Love Me Dead", gets just as much radio play here as any other famous national band does. I highly recommend checking it out. The other band is fairly new to me, but I love what I am hearing. Cavo is a St. Louis alternative rock band. From their website: "Songs from the forthcoming album are already making a splash. First single “Champagne” is garnering accolades on hometown alt-rock station 105.7 The Point; also noteworthy is “Come Undone,” a smooth cover of the Duran Duran classic featuring Republic Universal Recording artist Shannon Nicole."
