I stand by my plan of swift and terrible beatings. It only takes one for them to learn.

Well, it's not like the mods here are ban-hammer happy... they might be thread-lock happy but that's a different subject all together. A lot of threads are locked because they know what kind of response certain kinds of posts will get. Some thread-locks are to protect the original poster as much as they are to let spam die.

Yeah I know. But the seem to be getting somewhat ban warning happy. (This thread will be locked soon, I can feel it)

well they are supposed to warn people when breaking the rules aren't they? why wouldn't they?

They need to tell people when they are doing something wrong.... how else are people going to learn (other than a swift beating)?

Personally, I don't think people are banned or temp banned enough. Especially when they do things the rules page says "will result in an immediate ban without warning." I can see why people wouldn't take those rules seriously if the mods and admins don't stick to them.

Yeah I'm scared of those rules. I'm careful about the less important rules(now). By that I mean Rules that get you a temp ban or you get warnings for breaking them. I've always been careful about the ones that give you an instant ban. I don't want to get in trouble for spamming again.

They are not that hard to follow, so I don't know what there is to be scared of.

If you want to discuss fansubs and where to obtain illegal material, I'm sure that there are plenty of forums out there that would welcome it... You just don't discuss that here.

plus if you're making amvs anyways.... DVDs > Fansub

But I like this forum and it's somewhat orderly.

Besides, Chii's here (I'm a Chii fanboy)
