I don't think a thread linking to all the contest AMVs has been made yet, but if you are really anxious to get them before one is made, the ones that are posted on the site right now can be found if you go to the main page and click "Search for AMVs." Click Super Search and then under Participation, scroll down until you see "Sakura-Con 2008." Click the search button. Any ones that have been tagged for the contest this year and are entered into the system will show up. :D

I am personally working on my own AMV announcement and uploading an appropriate version for the org. This will be posted here and other various places.

What you did may not have been super complex, but it was visually pleasing, funny, and made Bustin' one of my favorite videos in the contest and this is coming from a person who hates Advent Children videos, heck I can't stand Final Fantasy videos in general.
I'm glad you liked it. 'Bustin (not Bustin', hehe) definitely has the unusual advantage of being able to appeal to both AC fans and nonfans, nevermind AMV fans and nonfans - I get a lot of people telling me that they generally don't like AMVs, but they really like 'Bustin. :)

My shock at receiving the Technical Award has been lessened after learning that the judges apparently were quite impressed by the level of detail in 'Bustin, among other things. This makes me very happy, because it's nice to have that sort of thing recognized. It's also nice to know that the other skills I brought to the table - graphic design, copy writing, etc. - were being evaluated right alongside my video editing abilities. ^_^

Thank you for the link, several of my friends wanted to see Sexy Vampire.

Also I've put up my two videos

Secret of National Treasure-

(Winner of best trailer)

She's a Maid-

(Off Beat)
This is how I see things:
A bad AMV makes it look easy
A good AMV makes it look fun
A great AMV makes it look hard
However, the best AMVs make it look impossible

Hey Dinger,
Is there anyway to find out what video's were runners up, or came close? I'm curious to know how mine did overall.

Oh, and for everyone else here are my entries:

and a plug for my entry that didn't make it as a finalist:
