Well, here we go again for the 7th installment of our yearly AMV Contest.
It took some time to get the English version online but finally the ruleset and the registration form is available at our website.
The rules are basically the same as last year so we have two parts that are judged separately:
The Exclusive Contest for those of you who want to contribute an AMV which was never released before, even though it may have entered another contest e.g. AWA.
The Free for All Contest is the less restrictive and allows you to enter any AMV which was produced after the Connichi 2007 (at the max two per editor).
Of course participating in these two contests is not mutually exclusive.
The deadline expires on August 6th 2008, that already includes the additional latecomer time and the option to directly link the AMV. Our session to rate all entries is going to take place the weekend after that Wednesday.

The Connichi is the biggest Anime and Manga related convention in Germany with about 13,000 visitors. It takes place in Kassel on September 12th to 14th. Last year we had almost 1000 people seeing the very best entries in the great hall of the Kongress Palais even though it was around midnight.
