That is exactly it. Those were the gold old days!

Now we have to put up with government-approved plain wrapping for our takeaways, which are no longer cod due to overfishing, and are legally obligated to recycle our packaging when done.

It's the only place I know where you could find Thai, Szechuan, Indian, Cantonese, Italian, American, Mexican, French, Cambodian and probably more all within 20 minutes of each other.

And how I miss the calamari and stuffed quahogs.. yum!
It helps that there is no place in the state that takes more than 45 minutes to reach from anywhere else in the state. lol

Calamari - yessss...GOOD calamari! Fresh off the boat! With garlic and butter sauce and hot peppers! I adore eating the little baby squids (whole) in front of people who prefer not to think about the fact that we're consuming something that's also sitting out back in a bait bucket.

Not such a big fan of bivalves, though. Except in chowder. Actually I'm not big into seafood at all - shrimp, calamari, clamcakes and chowder is about as much as I enjoy. And the occasional lobster roll. I'm not sure how I turned out this way, everyone else in my family is a seafood lover. :?

OMG - WE FORGOT ABOUT DELL'S!!!
