Rendering in Vegas 8.0

What is a good custom template to render with using Veas 8.0? Good quality but not making it a big filie.

you actually WANT that big file and then you can import that "big file" into Vdub Mod or Zarxgui or megui and compress it from there to make it easier to distribute it...

however if you export on highest settings and use huffyuv or lagarith then you should get a smaller file than uncompressed.

So should i just use a default render setup before i import it into one of those programs. If so which one.

Go to the custom settings and make your own default template

here is how I export (avi container):

if you decide to choose another compression choose Huffyuv or don't compress at all.

After you export the high quality file take that file and compress like so:
XVID: compress your video and your audio OR Compress both in Zarxgui

As for import settings (importing into Vegas) that would depend on the video footage you are using.
