JAFAX AMV Contest Now Open!

The 2008 JAFAX AMV Contest is now accepting submissions! See here for contest rules and details.

The contest took a year off last year, and is now under new management (me). If you're familiar with the contest, please note that the rules and general format of the contest are different from past contests, and now more closely match what you typically find at most other con-hosted contests.

Deadline for the contest is May 31st, and JAFAX takes place June 21st and 22nd.

If you're not familiar with JAFAX, here's a little info:

JAFAX (Japanese Animation, Film, and Art eXpo) is a free (that's right, FREE) event held at Grand Valley State University near Grand Rapids, MI. Now in its 13th year, JAFAX draws about 2,500 attendees to its unique blend of college anime club, multicultural event, and anime convention (to paraphrase our Chair's description of the event).
