Piano Songs?

Post by Pas » Sat Feb 02, 2008 3:16 am

Just wondering, because I don't know, but does anyone know of a nice song played solely on the piano (can include singing) that's really bright, cheery and uplifting?

Doesn't have to be anything advanced, just a simple song is fine, but I can't seem to find any ;A;

Thanks if anyone knows of one d('-'d)

This song is so cheery, it could be the fucking theme to an airlines commercial.

Artist: Queensrÿche
Song: Someone Else?
Album: Promised Land

I don't know if I would describe it as "nice", but definately a hauntingly beautiful piano solo w/ Geoff Tate on vocals. One of my favorite from that album.

I have a few I can mention:

Revelation by The Wedding= It is driven by piano but also includes a beautiful strings arrangement.

Pieces by RED= Another piano driven song with a great string arrangement.

I Celebrate The Day by Relient K= Yes, this is a Christmas song. But when you're throwing out piano songs, why bother with things like seasons? It's usually about interpretation.

Fearless (250 and Dark Stars) by Falling Up= A very interesting piano song. It has 2 featured artists and has techno elements.

The Hope by Sevenglory= A very uplifting piano song.

Say Goodbye by Skillet= Awesome piano work in this song.

The Best Thing/Forgiven/Up and Up by Relient K= (They are 3 different songs to clear any unkowns) These three songs are very piano driven (That's RK for ya). Up and Up is probably the mos uplifting out of them.

Let It All Out by Relient K= An interesting mix of hope and struggle.

I hope that helps you out, buddy!
I can claim the title as being the first person on a-m-v.org to submit an AMV with the artist KJ-52 on it. Yay. Hahaha.
Where my jello? I need it to go with my Cola, Rice, Puddin, Steak, macoroni, apple, peanut butter, plastic, baking soda, and cheese sandwhich!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I should probably have been more clear on my explanation, but I can't really find an example of what I mean.

In a sense it's almost like a childish tune, very simple but very happy. This doesn't mean that it has to be simple, but it's the only thing that's coming to mind for me.

Anyway, I'll check out the ones mentioned, thanks again d('-'d)
