Mp4 video info?

Post by guy07 » Tue Jan 15, 2008 11:53 pm

Why does the file info not state the time/bitrate of mp4 files?
Just checking, and it's not a big thing, but is there any way you can fix that?

Actually the fastest way to find out I know is to open it with the media player (KMP or VLC) and look for the media info.

Oh really? that's amazing!
But seriously, for people who don't have the fastest internet (aka dial up) or if you are DLing a MEP that is very large , it would come in handy, it would take me a lot less time to see how long it is by looking at the video info then the 4+ hours it takes to DL a amv.
Like i said, it's not a big thing, but it would be cool if they could fix that up.

My guess is that it's some script that runs when the file is uploaded to local.
I have no idea how to read header info...but there are things out there that can.
Dunno how it would be integrated though...
