Are there any amvs that preview the anime series of 2007 (like those used in anime conventions)?

What I think they meant was the Dubbing companies that show preview trailers of their new series at cons..

FoxJones did something like what you're talking about last year, though I think it was for 2006 anime...

No, i'm pretty sure the OP was asking for AMVs that's essentially a showcase of the hit anime from 2007.
