I'm annoyed with this sh1t

Post by vemalas » Fri Nov 23, 2007 10:25 am

Ok so i'm frapsing a game footage and created a video out of it with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. Exported with Lagarith losless. Now i open this file in Vdub 1.6.14 and try exporting with Xvid/Divx/wmv. In one to 7~ seconds i get this piece of sh1t.

In c disc 3gb of free space, in D - 1.6gb. Can't be a problem with that cuz i don't think the file would be that BIG lol.
Other tip - i can't even open the saved lagarith, exported from premiere. Player sends an error.
I have no AMVapp.
And i am pissed.

Thanks in advance if someone cares for a looser :)

actually, lossless codecs do tend to make huge files, and VDM does have trouble reading such large files. If you were to use an avisynth script though VDM should be able to read it.

What about scanning through it in VDub? If you can see all the frames in VDub, then the file's not corrupted and the problem is something else.

Also, what colorspace did you set Lagarith to save the video in (RGB32, YUY2, YV12)?

The last time I had a big-a$$ error message like that in vdm it was for lack of RAM.

There is an urge to trace that assembly, but the out of bounds memory exception when you obviously already used Lagarith for importing into premiere makes it seem like a bad premiere export. Try exporting the file in premiere again - perhaps as uncompressed.

Yeah, the file is 6GB, so VDM can't read it? nor does the player? Will avisynth solve this problem? Can i download just it? cuz i tend to have a problem with all the AMapp pack.

Scanning? well, i scrolled the slide bar through all the frames and it didnt crash, and all looked good on preview screen. When i press "preview input" or "preview filtered" it crashes. The colorspace is RGB (default).

I have 2GB of RAM, could it be that they are somewhat.. bad boys? ^___^

BasharOftheAges what do you ment by that? do i need to try just exporting from premiere again, or should i edit not with lagarith?
If someone understood what he said explain to me ^^ as i said i'm a failure at this.

Still pissed. :D

.. aged one simply ment that you should try exporting it once again from primiere in some other format and see if that corrects the problem - that's really all BasharOfTheAges ment ^_^

Oh.. though that something too smart for me, and cant be that simple!
Well, i'll try exporting with lagarith, but in YUV colorspace. If that fails with what should i export? download Huffjuv maby? but i heard it's worse than lagarith.

OMGWTF
same error.
in YUV colorspace, and now i compressed the audio too. File size is 4.7gb this time. The actual difference is that player plays that big @ss 4.7gb file. And quite good.
BUT I GET THE SAME ERROR! should i split the file into few segments for smaller size? should i use other codec? please write what should i do! :(
