if its any consolation most of the "amvers" I meet on youtube are girls... :3
I think in the end it all evens out anyways.. either that or the girls are taking over both hobbies :3
and to me it's all the same thing because you are doing the same thing: syncing video up to audio the only real difference is the source.

-edit sorry for the double post
Alot of people don't look like a geek nor act like a geek but apparently if you have interest in anime or editing then that makes you a geek. I guess there are the good geeks and there are bad geeks. Meh, all the geeks I've known got picked on during school but were successful in life (the good geeks). Lets just hope alot of you go down that road.DriftRoot wrote:Ok, so when did "ripped" and "remixed" become such esoteric terms that they require quote marks?![]()
I must say, the author started in about the .ORG and I was like, SSSSHHHHHH!!! DAMNIT, SHUT UP!!
Oh, and I am a geek. I don't look like one (folks are always shocked to their shoes when they find out my dirty little secret), but I am.

I don't think it matters too much if they talk about the .org... A company just has to look at all the members it has (which is shown on the top right of the homepage) and realize they would be losing a hell of alot of business if they were the ones responsible for closing down the site.
Why? Cause the members of the site would be way to pissed off to ever want to buy anything from them again.
Good stuff though. The only thing I'm worried about is this site becoming overly popular by young teens or people who wont contribute money to it. Then the contributors will have to contribute more to keep it alive

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson
