you mean a shakey cam effect? Yeah, that would probably just be messing around with the keyframes in Pan\Crop. though I have been wondering if there's a vegas plugin for it somewhere, It's crazy hard to make it look right yourself (I've never been able to do it. >.> )

what she said, tips on the easiest way to do it tho

zoom in on ur image by a tiny bit (making sure that whatever u zoom as u keep ur PAR) then u shift ur focus around keeping within the borders of the image, this will make sure u have no black borders popping up. then just go through each keyframe 1 by 1, really doesnt take that long.

This might work:
http://www.videoforums.co.uk/sony-vegas ... 0-a-2.html.
You'll need to sign up with VASST to download it. Only works with the full Vegas (meaning, *not* Movie Studio which does not support scripting).

Or maybe write your own script (meaning a Vegas script, not AVS).

Forgot to mention Troxel's JetDV forums. You might find a useful script here: http://thetroxels.com/vegas/forum/

It's not mentioned much around here, but Vegas scripts are useful for automating repetitive tasks. You can read more about them in the Help menu or at Troxel's forums. Sony also maintains a forum exclusively for Vegas scripting.

Wow, I googled for hours and didn't find anything, thanks alot, but do you know if that first link works on version 8.0? aside from that, I'm guessing there's a scripts folder somewhere you can just drop it in. :D

that effect is called masking, theres guides about it around on the forum, just look for 'masking' or 'rotoscoping' (the 2 are interrelated, where you find a guide about one the other is usually there)
