you know, ppl that call those anime previews shitty get on my nerves just as much as ppl who call va's sucky. Just try it, you'll see just how easy it is.

'Shitty' anime previews can in NO WAY OR FORM spoil the anime AT ALL! Meaning most of the anime footage is really off limits. How do you make a trailor about an anime without USING the anime (or really stepping out of NOT using the anime...). Basically it's a no win situation.

'Shitty' VAs are working behind a virtual green screen in audio form! Many of the time (especially in the anime buisness) they can't even read any more of the script than ONLY their lines for that day! They don't get the full feel for even the given scene, they don't get the full script so they'd know just how dramatic to make it. All they have to work on is the bit of coaching from the director :/ PLUS sometimes they don't even MAKE the anime in proper order either! So what's a VA to do, other than read every manga in existance...

Also VAing is not a cup of tea btw ;p (not even CLOSE to the topic, but...)

good actors are supposed to take their scripts home and study the crap out of them....

and any REAL GOOD anime VA would go out and watch the original source at least once to get a feel for their character.
