I shall baffel you all with my newest video creation!... Bwhahahahahahhahahah ::cough::....HAHAHAHAHHAHHAAHH!

Ok...Now that I've gotten that bit of awkwardness out back onto subject. So far I agree with everyone (Well...The only replies I read...I skimmed through everything) I've seen MANY good videos with multi anime usage. All it takes is planning as Vlad had stated. My current project took me a while to actually plan everything...Now I've finally started putting things in motion and began my newest project. But this thing is going to take me a few months go finish.

In other words...Multi anime videos are much harder to create. With so much footage it's rather more difficult to figure out where to place what (Kinda)...But all you have to do is just make it flow well. Plus it takes more effort into creating such videos and a longer thought process....

Well...It's late...And I'm too tired to type the rest of what I think...I'll do it tomorow I guess...Heh...

Vald: I forgot, I downloaded like every single of your vidoes that are for download like a month ago. I just have not sat down to watch them yet. (I have seen the ones that were at AX though) I have like 3 gigs of video on my hd now, I think it's about time to burn them off. >_<

Oh I did see "the look" at AX. This was good for many diffrent series cause the song said "they got the look". They... My song says "I" though out it. It will look wrong if I have someone talking about them selfs, and I have lots of diffrent people. It would work if they used diffrent voices, but they don't.

I agree that there isn't a better choice between single or various. Though it is impressive when an AMV creator finds a connection between a single anime and a song and is able to play the idea, or feeling up in a video,0 don't be too quick to judge various AMVs as easier to make. You have a lot more footage to work with and this does not necessarily make things easier. Sometimes you might find yourself in a struggle to balance out the different series you're using. For example, you have to make sure that this series doesn't get too much screen time but you're having trouble providing an appropriate transition to another series.

I think various AMVs offer miles and miles and miles of great ideas, only a handful of which have been put to use.

Videos that I'm thinking of here are Sappy Self-Indulgence, Tainted Doughnuts, Memories Dance, Right Now Someone Is Reading This Title, Rhythm Animation and Kusoyaro's Transformation (a video that I think you should watch that I thought did have an interesting idea).

I'm basically just repeating what a lot of other people already said but there is no better of the two. Although using many different series in one vid requires more planning and work, it can be as equally impressive as a vid with just one series.

[quote="Bahamut God] amv with 1 anime or amv with more than 1?

I don't really care. My video selection has videos of both catergories and I'm happy with it.

None is better really, it's all dependent on one's opinion.

I for one (and this is known throughout the org by now) love the faster multianime-amvs.

That doesn't mean I "hate" the "thought provoking" amvs. I happen to have them ranked very highly among the 200+ amvs I've reviewed. Zarxrax's "Tod" amv really boots me in the skull as the best Evangelion AMV I've seen to date. The fact that he won a "special" award from Brad Demoss (so I'm told) kind of knocks me down. ^_^ But then again, it's not the award right? It's the content of the video and the audience in question that matters.

In terms of preference for me though, if you throw two amvs at me, one that's serious and thought provoking and the other being fast and wild dance that just won't let me fall asleep, then yes, I'll watch the latter video first. That doesn't mean I'll score it higher however. ^_^

Nice post btw...

If you have to many Different series in an amv i feel it gets overloaded and the it's not as personal as one.

Hmmm... I've done both kinds and found no real preference with either style. My single anime vid told a story while my various anime vid just did random acts. Have plans to try a various title vid that tells a story next. Think more on your concept and what you want to try to accomplish (or rather whatever idea you have bouncing around your head and want to get into the world) and develop it from there.
