Well unfortunately, that is not the case. I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, pretty much ALL day, from 8am-9:30pm. I have breaks in between classes, but nothing truly substantial. If people wanted to do their match starting at 3:30pm CST and ending at 5:30pm CST on those days, that'd be perfect, since I can easily be around then. However, anytime other than that, I'm screwed.
SO! What I am looking for is an Assistant Coordinator. Somebody that I KNOW and TRUST that can make themselves available on days when I am unable to be around. The only thing they'd have to do is coordinate the match, by making sure each editor is online for their arranged match time, then 20 minutes beforehand, give them their song (which I will provide links to), and then at the 2 hour mark, let them know to stop editing, export, encode, and upload (using the FTP info that I will provide).
I'll be honest now, if you're either somebody I don't know or somebody that I know isn't reliable, I'm not going to choose you. That might sound mean, but I think you can understand my position. I need somebody who will do the task without me having to sit there worrying if things are getting done.
I can't really offer much in terms of compensation. Just know that you'd be doing me and this whole tournament a huge favor.
Obviously, if you're IN the tournament, you may NOT apply, UNLESS you get knocked out. If you lose early on and would like to help out, I would be very grateful.
