I took a note from the way some logos are worked into films as part of the opening music, and merely use the first few seconds of the song as a lead-in. [One of my favorite examples being where the Dreamworks logo fades in over the opening track for Gladiator]. It may be a cop-out at times, and doesn't always work, but I really like it when it does.

It's not like the biggie pros are innocent of course.
I used to hate the way they told you they used Digital Dolby by nearly deafening you.
And I really get genuinely annoyed, when it's like 5 minutes into the damn movie, and they are STILL inserting credits into the picture. Come, pick the top 5 names, put them right at the first, or late them take their bow at the end of the film.
And I realise not many people sit through the end credits, but in the case of amvs, I do. Hey, I WANT to know what the songs were, and were the footage came from eh. And I'm cool with the creator saying who was involved in making the amv.
But when I start up an amv, I want to hear the amv, not some tedious opener.

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.
