Yes, but which one will win? I mean both are not 'normal' comedy videos. One is totally WTF, the other is morbid humor. LOL. Well I guess I better show up for the contest. Is it friday night again?

The contest will be held on Friday night in the USU theater (stadium seating, big screen, etc).

I hope the contest will turn out even better than last years.

Just got back from the contest. Results will be in tomorrow, but based on audience reaction...

were the ones that seemed to have the most interest. There was a video with Street fighter that I thought was done very well done. It could win to, but this was a young crowd. Felt more like a big anime club then an anime convention. I would guess Blood will win due to use of flashy special effects and it's lateness in the contest. However the majority of the audience stayed for the contest.

Was a little week this category. The two strong ones were my own and It is you. I really hope It is you wins. Was a sweet Fruits basket video and the girl's first video. She was also at the contest. I didn't go to win myself, just flesh their contest out more.

Hard to judge this category. THe first one had After Effects used well, the second had After Effects but not used as well. The third was more a comedy and should have been in the comedy category instead, would have beat my two videos. It could even win the category, the girls screamed for yaoi in it. (Rolls eyes). However Feel the Mambo was very good. Reminded me of Odakurii or however it's spelled, the original 'dance' video, that started all the dance videos. It didn't feel like a copy of that video but a tribute or a sequal to that video. Was well done. I hope it wins best in show as well, as it deserves it.

Both my videos, but rather lame for comedy. (Shrugs). Whatever. I'm not a comedy person. I'm going to say 'Obey the Fist' wins over Meeting Tomoe. Why is it if Meeting Tomoe is put in 'drama' people think it's a comedy but when it's put in comedy people think it's a drama. (shrugs)

I'll leave the posting of results to the AMV coordinator. Remember these are just my views of the contest.
