Would you listen the the music w/o the AMV?

i've come to like some songs from artists i otherwise wouldnt listen to thanks to certain AMVs. and yes, to the point that i listen to them without watching the video.

as for getting a dvd player to play amvs in your car, i hope youre not watching and driving at the same time :/

I don't strongly associate songs with AMVs, generally, so if I like the song I listen to the song regardless. Generally I don't watch AMVs with songs I can't stand, because it seriously makes watching it hard.

As for opening the video file strictly to listen to the song, this is why the gradual shifting of editors to using AAC audio in their MP4 releases (and I do mean MP4, not H.264 - the video compression is inconsequent in this; it could be ASP and still work) is so convenient - Winamp will play just the audio stream without the video. I use 2.95, though, so other versions' mileage may vary.

Holy crap, you mean there's videos attached to these files?!

It's all about the song. I keep outright awful amvs for good songs. I delete otherwise 'amazing' videos because I hate the song.

I've actually gone as far as Listening to the Theme Songs of the Animes' first Episodes to decide if I'll like the series itself before watching the rest of the series and haven't been disappointed yet

Multitasking ftw =D The PS2 is nice as well erm

I actually know someone that almost died playing his PSP "at red lights." Got fired from the job for totalling the company van and doing over $40,000 in dammages.

I would not ever play the playstation while driving...that is stupid. At shows and what not it is nice to have while judging is going on as well as watching AMV's during the shows at times.
