Trubles with making banners

Uhm, maybe this isn't just the right play to ask this, but... I made an animetd banner, which only consists in 5 frames, and not even with much elements on it, but, even in a very low quality, its dimension is over 25Kb, so I can't upload it on the org and since I didn't find anything (not a guide or a topic) to help me exporting a good file, I would like to ask if there is some program or way or something to just make animated gifs with good quality and low size. Just as an example, this is an old banner (http://www.animemusicvideos.org/_media/ ... gether.gif) that just weights 18.76 kB, but has a lot more of frames and colours in it than mine. If someone can help me, I would be very grateful.

What program are you using? I use Photoshop ImageReady, and for a 5 frame banner with not many colors or elements, you can usually get decent quality for under 20kb. But in that one, the more effects you use (even if its just a color overlay.), the bigger the file size. So I usually try to keep my animated banners simple.

Yep, I have ImageReady, but i don't really know how yo use it very well... Anyway, there aren't really any effects in the banner. Just some lines and a screen of a part of the org menu. That's why it seemed really strange to me that it was over 25kb in files size... I don't know if i explained it quite well but that is it.
