AnimeUSA 2007 AMV Contest: Accepting Submissions

Well, the rules have been in the hands of the AUSA publications department for a good 3 weeks now and they're still "working on it". SO! While there is no mention of AMV programming on the AUSA website yet, the contest is accepting submissions and the rules are available at the following address:

The contest deadline is October 19th, and we accept FTP and mail-in analog or digital entries, so gather up your AWA vids and get uploading!

If there are any questions, you may email me, pm me, or post a reply in this thread, and I will do my best to reply promptly. Every year the contest is spectacular, and I can't wait to see what ya'll come up with this year!

AUSA is my favorite of the smaller hotel cons.

I'll send something in again, though I've never made the cut here, not surprising as the AMVs at this con tend to be among the best I've ever seen.

Hopefully I'll make the cut this year. This is my favorite of the hotel cons but I've never once made the cut!

So, about how long should we expect to wait to receive the FTP password and connection information after requesting access?

It's instant. Your mail server's spam settings were cranked so high, I can't send you an email from any account that has a URL in it (automated or not). Check your PMs.
