am i being illegal havng two accounts?

this is not literally true, as on the first attempt i gave the wrong email address, so i couldn't access the link to finalise my account, i tried the "change email" option but found it didn't work so have had to start again, only now i have to have a different user mane and there's an account in potential floating around here using up space.
can i get the other attempt deleted and renew my user name to that of the original?
i'm probably being a fool somewhere along the line here, but would appreciate a calm and concise solution.

I was told that this is the correct answer from a mod.

I guess he just want to get original username.

Correct me if I'm wrong,but.. You registered an account,with your original username,but typed in wrong e-mail adress,and now you want mods to delete that account so that you could register once more with your original username?

I guess there is another solution,that'll save a bit of stress - just report to mods about typing in wrong e-mail adress in your first registration,and ask them to delete that account,then just ask them to change this username into your original..

The system would work like this :

Report to mods --> Account having wrong e-mail adress is deleted (though I don't know if they'll delete it..) --> Username Change .

Or,you could do like this :

Report to mods --> Change username of another account (the wrong one) --> Change this account username into your original one.

But I guess you would need to give some sort of proof that it was you who registered that account..
