AWA MASTERS CONTEST DEADLINE

Is the 10th of August. Expo closes one week after that.

Hope I'm not annoying anyone with these updates, but I know how easily these deadlines tend to creep up on everyone.

Check the AWA website (www.awa-con.com) for details on the contest, and polish up your editing gear! The triumphant return of the Masters' contest is upon us, and I'm hoping that the year off gave y'all enough time to put together some fierce competition!

Question. How should we send in our qualifying entry if we're uploading our Masters entry by FTP instead of CD/DVD? Should we still send that in by CD/DVD? or upload it along with the Masters video? or if we already uploaded a qualifying entry in like Expo or Pro, can we just point those out as our qualifying entries?

Best approach (check back, my tech guy may make me change this) is to upload it to the site, and also upload a text file explaining which is which. If your qualifying entry is already entered in another contest, just include that information in the text file; you don't have to uploade the qualifer twice.

And by that you mean another AWA contest, yes?

Essentially. If it was an AWA video, past or present, you're probably covered. A different con, you'll probably need to upload. Especially if it was fairly recent. When in doubt, email me at vattechnical@gmail.com to try and keep things blinded and objective for Matt.
