File Size and Length

When does a video get too big or too long? At what point does it become a deterrent for you to download or finish watching?

So long as it has an interesting premise and keeps me interested while watching, length and size are irrelevant.

Length is something that should be justified by a concept. Your concept should be the limiting factor; if you think you have enough to say, then take as long as you have to.

Filesize is a technical issue and is obviously tied to compression quality. In the older XviD/DivX compression, 10-15mb per minute is generally a reasonable filesize, and there's really no point in going above it unless you have to have a good reason. In newer h264 compression, this should be even less.

If your video is 3 minutes long and weighs in at 40 megs, it's a good median. If your video is 6 minutes and 80mb, likewise. If your video is 3 minutes at 80mb, questions are asked however.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
