Your AMV type preferences

i look for amv's that use an anime i've seen and have used the song to sync with an aspect of its story - mostly in the character profile/drama category of amvs

cross-overs utilizing anime I'm familiar with and containing a good amount of actual masking is what I'd prefer to see most. It doesn't even have to sync up w/ the music very well so long as the cut outs look convincing enough. Unfortunately, amv's like that don't come out everyday.

I like various AMVs, only because it seems easier to fit footage from multiple anime to one song.

I like comedy MEPs.

I like romantic/dramatic AMVs.

I like tribute AMVs.

I like AMVs with fast music where the action fits the music.

I like AMVs where the footage and the cuts fit the music. Lip sync is ok but not important unless the character's lips are moving out of sync. The scenes and cuts have to fit the lyrics as close as possible. Random clips to music sucks ass and is a sign of a serious n00b.
