No checkbox for upcoming convention

So I'm on Step 5 of the video edit process (hey, why do Steps 5 and 6 say "Enter New Video" at the top instead of "Edit Videos" like the other four steps?), and I'm trying to add AnimeNEXT 2007 for my video, and there's no checkbox.

The contest coordinator confirmed yesterday that my entry was accepted, so I know it'll be in the contest in some way.

What exactly does it mean when a contest has no checkbox, and how do I get the con added to my video profile?

i wanna add anime mid atlantic to one of mine as i know i made the finalists of that con... i mentioned it in the thread but i guess no one (mods/admin) saw it O.o

I don't know, as I haven't entered a contest in almost two years.

I'm guessing it has some relation to the whole new administrative options thing they added to the contest calendar mechanism about two years ago, so that <s>Coordinators</s> coordinators can confirm videos' participation. Maybe.

yea well i only started entering cons last year and this is the first time ive seen it O.o

It's happened to me several times in the past 2 years - AFAIK i mentioned it to a coordinator in the past and he said that there was an option that did that. I assume it must default to "leave the check box off" or something similar but it must be worded in a way that doesn't convey that that is what's going to happen if that sellection is made.
