More interlacing after rendering in Vegas

Post by uchihaclan13 » Sat Jun 02, 2007 12:40 am

After rendering the uncompressed as a non-progressive scan in Vegas, then sending it to VDM, and having more interlacing still, what to do?

Non-progressive = interlaced :roll:

Either your export settings are wrong or the interlacing is present in the source.

sorry for double-post but I also want to know in plain englsih whats the diff bewteen de-interlacing and interlacing cuz it seems that people say both of them are good so I'm confused about that. I don't know what to be doing in avisynth scripts if I see lines (whether or not I should be finding an interlacing script or a de-interlacing script)

fielddeinterlace()

i usually just use that in avisynth when i want to deinterlace...

interlacing from what i know is to compensate for the frame rate of a television screen... or something...

where as computer monitors can handle the video output better so its better to work with progressive if youre viewers are going to watch on their computer
