I'm new to this so I definately appreciate the suggestions. I have been applying them to my project. Most of the suggestions had already been in mind when I started the video, so now this just reassures me more and takes the wonder work out of it beings my first video and all.

No one has the right to suggest "what makes a good video".
I don't care if your the top 10. Not even the #10 or #1.

When you ask this you get 2 different kinds of people to answer this question.

Black and white.

Black says "you need timing sync". White says "No it's not all about that! it's about this!..."

Right after u listened to the two, your confused as Ann Hesh and then ur asking urself that question again!

I hate how people get poetic too when they give u the answer at these questions JUST OVER AMVS!(it's not fucking Caligraphy.)

Way I found the answer to same question.

Answer: I just watched other peoples videos and thought of what they used like (mood and ect.) and decided to channel this for myself.
I have a friend on another forum who makes EXCELLENT video's but he said he wouldn't join over here because some of the people here take their video's way too seriously.

It's kind of sad too because outside of here he is the best I ever saw. Even amongst alot of Video's I have seen here he is better. He even created custom songs to put to his video's and they are great.

i made a similar thread to this a few months ago, imo the most important thing is concept, if your amv has a really interesting concept then even if the editing itself is not amazing it can still be very enjoyable, i use my own amvs as examples, i honestly am not that great at editing but i try and create a distinct mood and concept for most of my amvs and about 4 of those have been really successful because of that

One thing I like for most of the time for videos that uses songs like Dance of Curse, I look for music sync. I also look for lyric matching unless it's an opening parody.

For lip syncing, I'm not so crazy about unless it's completely off like my It sucks to be one should've had note holdings and a better ending.
