I need help writing to a Senator.
Right now, I'm trying to make a editorial to send my state senator regarding copyright laws. I want to try to get all works of fan art such as fan fitction and AMVs to be legitimate. If you can give me any where I can get legitimate sources, I'd appreciate it. In fact, I could appreciate some interviews.

state the fact that many of today's copyright laws were written shortly after the advent of the TELEPHONE.
(i.e. express that the laws are outdated; make some good historical context to other laws that were changed as time went on)
also call it is a societal law and it'll diminish its big talk.

You could check barnes and noble, then check your library online source and book it.Kumatora wrote:All right.
Also, do you know where I can find in depth articles on copyright history?
You could try wikipedia, and google never fails either, some good government websites can probably give you the information you'll need, if you research your senator you may find a connection with him/her and a certain copywrite law from the past, or something he may personally know about-- I am sure that'll catch his attention.

That's what I'm trying to do. I want to get a lot research done. I also need interviews so I can see it from their standpoint. It'd be nice if this were to go into effect. Although, chances are, we'll end up with pre-approved rippers and shit.shinji13 wrote:You could check barnes and noble, then check your library online source and book it.Kumatora wrote:All right.

Or worse yet nothings done at all, I believe in purchasing all of my art (movies, anime, comics, manga, music, images, books, etc) because I believe I need to support those whose work I enjoy so they can continue to work on more art for me instead of having to go out and do work to provide for themselves.
But I wouldnt put the effort into solving such a problem, to many things above that in priority.
Good luck.
