Best Parody (The Ditto Award)

Post by GloryQuestor » Sun Jan 22, 2012 4:12 pm

(The Ditto Award) This video imitates or satirizes a known genre or piece of media. Many parodies are for comic effect, but some are dramatic and thought-provoking. The award goes to the video which was most effective in parodying something else, whether it be in a funny, dramatic, cool, or just plain bizarre way.

REMINDER: Parody doesn't equal comedy (though that doesn't say a parody cannot be comedic).

That being said, I'll be a knucklehead here and self-promote:

A parody of 1950's/1960's sci-fi trailers.

Parodying James Bond/spy films.

In fact, a parody must be comedic. It's a squares/rectangles situation.
