Any one know any good conventions in Florida around the Orlando area?

AFO and Jacon are the only ones I can think of around Orlando. There's Metrocon in Tampa, and it's only an hour away.

Oh. I've already been to AFO and Jacon. I meant conventions coming up soon. Sorry. I'm trying to go to Megacon or Janicon though.

Hells yes it's fun. Going drinking w/ Steve Bennett is great times, commandeering one of the largest video rooms just to show my garbage is great times! And holding the entirety of the attendees hostage in the AMV contests is awesomeness.

It was cancelled last year because there was damage to the Emory-Riddle campus where the con was usually held. The did have a one day thingy last year, it was alright.

As for cons that are coming up, I'm pretty sure there aren't any.

Oh then I've heard of that. I've just heard too many different nicknames for it. Anyway it sounds pretty fun so I think I'll try and go to it someday.

ever since 7, when the con caught fire and the campus got trashed the entire future of the con has been in question. Really sucks too, thats been one of my fave week end crash spots for years.
