AX 2007 AMV Gathering

Hey guys, sorry about the delay on this post, been busy with law school finals so I haven't had the time to get things together.

Anyway, so for AX 2007 I figured I'd make a reservation for the gathering at the Rock Bottom Microbrewery, this is where we met teh last time AX was in long beach and I figured it should work well this time since they had good room accomdoations (hopefully they aren't booked up).

Rock Bottom Long Beach (about a 5 min walk from the convention center)
June 28th (the day before AX officially starts, thoguh reg is this day)
Time: 7:30 PM

The walk is realy short, less than two blocks and is almost across the street from teh convention center.

If you are interested contact me and I'll add you to the list, just tell me how many guests will be comign with you so I can plan ahead.

I crossposted this between the forums and the list, so please don't RSVP in both so I don't acciodentally count you twice.

Not sure I'll be able to make it this time... I may have to pick up dwchang from the airport if he's coming that day depending on his flight or if he's coming at all.

Islands was the original plan, but it was decided for many reasons that Rock Bottom was a much better choice, so that's where it's being held now.

I'd love to go to the dinner but I have to see what plans my friend has first. We're driving down from the East Bay that day (actually I'm doing all the driving) and I'm hoping I'm not dead tired. Uh, are people cosplaying at the dinner or will it be casual attire

I'm pretty sure some are going in cosplay. I'm opting to simply go casual that night, though.

So I'm almost sure Koop's Skittles won in the AmTV category (whatever that category is).

Sucks that the rest of the AMVs from the other categories got stolen.

I couldn't make the amv awards, but from the sound of the crowd I'll bet "Does L Creep You Out" won comedy. He was so modest at the gathering too, heh...
