Cosplaying reason?

I want to ask only for the Anime fans who cosplaying into Anime, what reason you have to cosplay into Anime?

It must be more than for fun since they don't choose to cosplay into cartoon but choosing to cosplay into Anime.

i've done the laughing man and one of the mooninites.

wasn't really into it, so i stopped.
IMO, it's fun for attention whores. the rest of us may find it dull

Well, I think most people who are fans of both American cartoons and Japanese cartoons would prefer to dress up as an anime character if they were going to an <i>anime convention</i>...

Can you show me at least 1.000 cartoon cosplayers to back up what you said?

I will show you over 50.000 Anime cosplayers just from this 2 cosplay site www.cosplay.com and www.acparadise.com that most of them are not ASIAN. I mean when ASIANS cosplaying into their Anime, it is normal since it is their own Anime but not for the non ASIAN Anime cosplayers.

This is an ANIME music video site. Therefore you will find more people who go to ANIME conventions. Therefore, you will find more ANIME cosplayers here. You go to a comic book site, you will find more comic book cosplayers. You go to a Star Trek site, you will find more Star Trek cosplayers. You go to a Harry Potter site, you will find more Harry Potter cosplayers. You're not proving anything here. You want an American cartoon cosplayer, I give you the hero of New Jersey!
