Any interest in a San Francisco area gathering?

Gah, it's hard to make the title so short. If I had one more letter, I could make it alot nicer.

Anyway. To get to the point. After reading about a party Mr. Pilkington is organizing (see here) in Georgia, I was upset because there's no way I could go (it's halfway across the country for Pete's sake), but then I thought, if I'm so eager to meet people, why don't I organize a party too?

Anyway, so I want to know if anyone would be interested in coming to a sort of gathering/party of a-m-v.org people mostly (of course I'd try to drag along my anime-watching friends) in the San Francisco (California) bay area. I for one would be most in favor of Redwood City, as that's where I live and I'm most familiar with the restaurants here. Although it's only a city of about 75,000 (according to the official signs), there are actually a fair number of restaurants (some of them pretty good).

Anyway, so just post if you're interested, and if so, I'll come up with a list of some of the better eateries, plus chains you'd all know.

We could also organize around a convention/event (JTAF is coming up, for example, though I didn't go last year).

This is all assuming anyone wants to come. I don't want to go all by my lonesome, of course.

i live 1-2 hours from San Fran so that would be kinda cool...
