Who went to Anime USA?
i went and it was like 3x better than last year, i loved the Shinto gate in the front.
btw, if anyone saw the jmv showings on the last day and saw the yatta video, there was someone dancing on the stage.....twas me.
good news as well i got 3rd place in the amv competition in the upbeat/rhythim section.

Good then I want to recruit your help for Otakon 2004. During Otakon's next JMV showing.. I would like to see people get up and dance to whatever being shown for things that are crazy-dancable like yatta, and morning musume stuff.. =) If you can be of help.. I was hoping to involve somebody from the cosplay organization-side of Otakon..Jim Hawkings21122 wrote:btw, if anyone saw the jmv showings on the last day and saw the yatta video, there was someone dancing on the stage.....twas me.
Anyhow.. there will most likely be a recap showing of previous red-apple showings/pre-2004 content.. for Otakon 2004, in which I can gurantee.. the Yatta and various morning musume songs make it.. and so on...
Anyhow.. if you think you can help, let me know.. I'd like to make at least the recap showing a place where people can "rocky horror" along with some of the videos...
Actually if you're into this idea.. and want to be a part of it... just leave me a msg here on the phpBB.. and I'll get back to you.. maybe I can coordinate that as something that Otakon will give us rehersal time for....for 2004..

I don't know.. but it's prolly not a good idea.. I personally don't represent otakon, however I can imagine them not liking you walkng around mostly naked.. however if you see others in that costume in the con, then it's probably okay.. but don't check with me, I'd check with some official otakon staff... IMO.Jim Hawkings21122 wrote:I'm in, can i wear the YATTA! costume?

I went. I had a good time especially since I had a friend to lay back on ^_^ There were a couple points where there was nothing really interesting going on but I did have a lot more fun. Also, I do think there were more people this year as well as well as better dealers (whoever did that Yaoi Doujinshi booth, god bless you!). You can find my entire report in my LiveJournal. The only AMV creators I actually got to talk to were Walter Scott, Alan (dji), and Rinny, and they were all really awesome. The AMV contest was great and I was so glad to be a part of it. Thanks to everyone who put time into the contest and made it everything that it could, including all entrants ^^ Hopefully next year will rock just as hard! (By the way, I was walking around with the Support Yaoi and Support Yuri signs).
