I've gotten in free every year I've attended...

I know a lot of people who say they get in free every year. I can understand why panelists would get in free, but why normal people? :/

Oddly enough press passes are easy to obtain and basically get you in free. There are many ways to exploit the badge system at many conventions, but in the end you aren't really giving anything to the convention. That's why I bought my badge.

That's why I buy my badges too. If I wanted to I'd just get a press badge every time (especially this time), but I like supporting AWA.

I still don't understand how random normal people can just get in for free, though.

I've been a panelist the last two years (that is, including this year), and the first year it was cause I'm Canadian...really. XD
