It probably was during the IE. One of the competitors in the game show was wearing the shirt, and Brad made a point of telling everyone about it.

Dang... I just landed this morning back in the land of the Burly...

The cold that was threatening to wreak havoc upon me since 2 weeks ago before Manifest has finally caught up with me (or so I hope it's just a cold and not some nasty New York bug of some sort). But man, AWA was worth it. Seein' all ya guys was definitely an experience.

Pilk, so sorry again for completely forgetting about you. I had thought that you were expecting me to call you up before you came to the airport to pick me up (I didn't see your last PM to me till I found internet back there

), and when Bakadeshi said he was going to come by since he was picking up his brother anyway, I thought I'd just stick with them.

Hmm... I haven't had a proper shut eye in the past 38 hours... jet lag sucks. AWA doesn't.

It's just more convenient; I live 20 min from Anime expo but I get a room anyway. Generally when you are up till 3 to 4 in the morning each night and come back at 7 to 8 in the morning you don't want to have to worry about driving home inbetween and would rather use that time for what little sleep you can get. Also if you need to relax or just bring crap with you having a room is a lot more helpful.

Though that doesn't apply to AWA for me; I live in CA so it's a bit hard to drive back and forth.
